I finally did it, my first completed embroidery! Thanks to Jenny Hart and Sublime Stitching for her patterns.
Sorry for the wrinkles. I tried 4 times to iron them out...

I LOVE the kitty. That was my first one, too! I'm totally addicted now, spending tons of money on embroidery thread and classes... run while you can! ;oP
One thing you might try doing to get the wrinkles out (if you're concerned about them) is clip it to a clothes hanger (or drape it over a towel rod) and hang in the bathroom while you're taking a hot shower.
Another trick for getting wrinkles out -- mist it with water from a squirt bottle and let it sit a bit. Then lay it right side down on a terrycloth towel (one that has been washed often so you know it won't bleed) and iron the back. The mist should get the wrinkles out, and ironing from the back will really make the stitches pop.
